Night out to the Rodeo

Saturday we went to the rodeo to see Brad Paisley with our good friends Grace and Jon. None of us get out much so we had a great time :)

Trip to the Zoo

Today Grandma, Aunt Jessica, Uncle Kenneth, Aunt Taryn and I took James and John Patrick to the zoo. Here are some pictures from the day. I think our favorite part of the day was getting to feed the Giraffes. Today was John Patrick's first trip to the zoo. He did so good and loved getting to see all the animals. James loved the petting zoo. He kept hugging all the goats and trying to ride them. Waiting in line for the train. Poor John Patrick was out.

Horses, Cowboys, and Lady A

For Grandma's birthday my dad got everyone tickets to the Houston Rodeo. James had so much fun at the livestock show before hand. He had been telling me all day he wanted to ride a horse I wasn't sure there would be horses he could ride so I tried to tell him other fun things we would be doing. But luckily there were pony rides and James could not have been more excited. When we got to the rodeo James and John Patrick were so exhausted that they sat pretty still until the concert started and then they fell right to sleep. What a fun night :)

An Ash Wednesday Birthday

Yesterday was the first time any of us could remember Mom having her birthday on Ash Wednesday. Because of her birthday being on Ash Wednesday we decided to save the celebrating for Friday. However, James insisted that Grandma have a birthday cake. So after church we all went over to Grandma and Grandpa's to sing Happy Birthdy!

A day at the park

Today was another beautiful day. Ava, Lucia, James and John Patrick had a picnic at the park. It is so cute to see how they all interact together.

Cody & Anna's Wedding

This weekend was Cody Watts' wedding. (the Watts are close family friends) James and John Patrick were invited to the wedding but we decided last minute that it would be a long night for them and asked Nathan's Dad if he wouldn't mind staying with the boys. Pappy was happy to help us out and James and John Patrick had a blast with their Pappy. Here are some pictures of the evening :)
