Merry Christmas

Every year we go to Christmas Eve Mass at St. Anne's Catholic Church downtown.  After Mass we go over to my Grandparents house nearby for dinner and presents.
We took an entire extended family picture but that is on my brothers camera.  Here is the one of our family.
Nathan read the kids a Nativity book along with The Night before Christmas book.
James and John Patrick made Santa some chocolate chip cookies during the day and set them out right before they went to bed.  They also left the reindeer some carrots in the yard.
 SANTA CAME!
James was most excited about the chocolate coins he left in his stocking!
John Patrick is so sweet.  I had used a diaper box to wrap one of his presents and when he opened the paper he screamed "DIAPERS, YEA!"

After opening presents at our house we went over to my parents house for breakfast and presents and then off to Beaumont for Christmas with the Smoters.
Baba always makes a Happy Birthday Jesus cake for Christmas day.  The boys love to sing and blow out Jesus' candles.

As usual we were very spoiled this Christmas.  We wished Joshua was here to share his first Christmas but we were very blessed for everyone remembering him in there own special ways.

A weekend in Dallas

This weekend we took a trip to Dallas to celebrate my cousin John's wedding to Rebecca.  We stayed at Great Wolf Lodge and it was AMAZING!  James asked if we could stay for 100 days he loved it so much.

On Saturday night we had tickets to ride the North Pole Express in Grapevine.  The boys love the book, The Polar Express so they were so excited to get to ride on a train to the North Pole!

When we arrived at the North Pole SANTA came on the train and passed out bells for all the kids.

Here are some pictures from the water park inside our hotel

THANK YOU GRANDMA AND GRANDPA FOR A GREAT WEEKEND!

Coles Crossing Christmas at the North Pole

Our neighborhood always has a Christmas event at the community center each year. Tonight we checked it out on our way home from our other Christmas party. What a wonderful way to end a fun day.

James really wanted to try out the rock wall.
