And Finally...

We drove back home on Saturday night from Louisiana because on Sunday after church Jessica and I threw Taryn a baby shower. Taryn's due date is right around the corner (August 20) so it was so much fun to shower Taryn with gifts for the baby. We can't wait to find out if it is a boy or a girl!!

Friday night

When we got back from Galveston we un-loaded and re-loaded the car, changed clothes, picked up Daddy and were off to Louisiana. (thank you Jessica for helping with the quick turn around) Brandon invited us to Louisiana to celebrate him proposing to Aunt Theresa. Theresa didn't know about the engagement or that we were coming so it was a night full of surprises. We are so happy for Theresa and Brandon and can't wait for the wedding.

The Seese family was nice enough to let us stay with them in LA. They have a beautiful home and James loved their pool and dogs.

week continued...

On Friday the boys and I drove down to Galveston to Moody Gardens for the day. JoAnn, Casey and Haylee were on vacation with the Hughes family and they were sweet enough to invite us down for a visit. It was so good to see them!

A busy week worthy of severel posts

This past week was jammed packed. The week started off by taking John Patrick for his first ER visit on Monday night. He was standing on top of his car and fell off and hit his head on the corner of the TV stand. Thankfully he is just fine but he gave us a scare. On Tuesday it was Uncle Jeff's birthday and to celebrate my parents threw him a party at the 300 bowling ally. It was the first time we have taken to boys bowling and they had a blast. They even had bowling shoes for James!

Fourth of July 2011

This weekend we went to Austin for the fourth. The weekend was fun packed with washer tournament, the swim center, boat ride, wake boarding, golf cart rides, the park and of course the Lakeway parade. The boys had so much fun celebrating 'America's Birthday!'

Happy Birthday John Patrick

Last week we celebrated John Patrick's first birthday on June 28th. I can't believe my sweet boy is already one year old. On his birthday we invited the whole family over for a party to celebrate.
