Next...

After lunch we packed up to make it back to church with the Passmore side. Luckily James took a good nap on the way.

When church was over we headed to Grandma and Grandpa's for dinner and more spoiling.

The bunny came to our holes at Grandma's house

James got a GRILL!

On our way home from our long day we asked James if he had a fun day, his response was, "It was like a party mommy! Treats, presents, and cake"

Easter Morning

This morning we woke up super early, checked our Easter baskets and bunny holes then headed to Beaumont to go to church and have lunch with Baba, Pappy, Aunt Theresa and Brandon.

Baba, Pappy, Brandon, and Aunt Theresa spoiled the boys with toys, clothes and even a wheel barrel.

Colored Bubbles!

Alleluia! Christ is Risen!

On the first day of the week,
Mary of Magdala came to the tomb early in the morning,
while it was still dark,
and saw the stone removed from the tomb.
So she ran and went to Simon Peter
and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and told them,
“They have taken the Lord from the tomb,
and we don’t know where they put him.”
So Peter and the other disciple went out and came to the tomb.
They both ran, but the other disciple ran faster than Peter
and arrived at the tomb first;
he bent down and saw the burial cloths there, but did not go in.
When Simon Peter arrived after him,
he went into the tomb and saw the burial cloths there,
and the cloth that had covered his head,
not with the burial cloths but rolled up in a separate place.
Then the other disciple also went in,
the one who had arrived at the tomb first,
and he saw and believed.
For they did not yet understand the Scripture
that he had to rise from the dead.
John 20:1-9

Bunny holes and Easter egg dying

After Berkshire we hurried home to dig our bunny holes before going over to Grandma and Grandpa's house to dye Easter eggs and dig bunny holes at their house. (Bunny holes are a Passmore tradition...we dig a hole, decorate it with flowers and leave some bunny food and in return the Easter bunny leaves us treats)

Blessed

To get through all we did this weekend I am going to need to have several posts. Here is the first...
Blessed.
Nathan and I feel so very blessed. Holy week leading up to the celebration of Easter is the most important time in our faith. It has been so awesome to begin teaching the boys about the ultimate sacrifice Jesus made for them and for all of us. When we ask James "What is Easter?" He says "Easter is about Jesus. He died on the cross." (it melts my heart) On Friday we went to the live stations of the cross at my parents church. Every year since I was little we have gone to see the 6th graders act out the stations. This year it was so neat to see James starting to pay attention. James kept asking "What happen to Jesus mommy?" Then on Saturday we drove out to my Uncle Tommy & Aunt Cassie's new house in Berkshire. Their new house is on a big piece of property and is very nice. James even got to ride Uncle Tommy's tractor.

Coles Easter Egg Hunt

Today we had our neighborhood egg hunt and Easter festival. This is James' 3rd year to attend but the first year that he participated in the egg hunt. He knew just what to do and had so much fun.

Once James found out there was candy inside he stopped hunting to get his 'treat'

Yum! Of course he had to put the whole package in his mouth at once.
