On Thursday we went to our 31 week appointment for Joseph and we found out that he has been diagnosed with Ventriculomegaly. Because I am considered a high risk patient my doctor preforms a high level ultrasound at every appointment. At this appointment Joseph's Ventricules in his brain measured outside of the normal range. Typically they should measure around 7.6mm, normal range extending to 10mm. Joseph's were measuring between 11.3 and 11.8. This was very concerning to our doctor and can mean a number of things. Our next appointment is October 30th and we are praying for a miraculous healing of his brain. Please join us in praying for our sweet boy. We are strong in Christ and we know He has mighty plans for Joseph. We know the power of prayer and we thank you for praying for our son.
Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. Romans 5:2-5
